“A
document executed by a person who is unable to read shall be read out and, if
necessary explained to him.
A
document written in a language not understood by the executing party shall, in
like manner, be interpreted to him.
When a
party to be examined is dumb, recourse must be had to the means by which he
makes himself understood.’
